About

The founder of “CHOREO FLIX” our very own dance choreographer and film maker Nawya Perera, with 11 years of experience as a Dance Instructor and 8 years of experience as a Dance Choreographer while also being a Post graduate student of Film Making, brings a fresh and innovative perspective to the world of dance choreography and film production.

We initially started our work in Sri Lanka since. The Mega project which we have directed and choreographed was Sri Lanka’s first Cinematic Dance Show “Cine Danza”. Followed by our Cinematic Dance Videos Productions, Documentary Films, Short Films and Music Videos we also have choreographed Dance for Sri Lankan TV Reality shows.

We have educated over than hundreds of Dance Students through Online and Offline classes, passing out three batches from our own Dance Courses designed by our Institute. Our Director Nritya Visharad MS. Nawya Perera being also the Dance Instructor of the Assistant High Commission of India, Kandy, Sri Lanka since 2019 has trained five batches of students for Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapit Dance exams.

 

Few of our Achievements…

 

• Our Sri Lankan Student Oshantha de Silva was selected in the Top 10 contestants of “Derana Little Star season 7” TV Dance reality show.

 

• Three of Our Dancers represented Sri Lanka as Finalists in South Asian Dance Competition 2020 and Won 2nd runners – ups in both Junior and Senior categories

 

• Three of our Dancers were selected as Finalists of the Mega Dance Show“ Sri Lanka’s Best Dancer Season 1” in 2022

 

Even though “CHOREO FLIX” started its work in Sri Lanka now we have moved into Punjab, India and remote our work from Punjab. Our commitment to delivering top-notch dance choreography and film production services remains unwavering. The distance in location does not limit our ability to create captivating performances, cinematic experiences, and unforgettable moments.
